New Board Officers Chosen

Starr King Openspace, the only hilltop openspace not owned by SF Rec and Parks under the Natural Areas Program, is owned by a non-profit corporation managed by a Board of Directors. The new Board met June 10, 2009 and selected the following Officers:

David Glober, Vice President
Andie Grace, Secretary
Christa Conforti, Assistant Secretary
Jennifer Stebner, Treasurer

Annual Meeting and Election

The annual meeting and election of Directors was held Wednesday May 13, 2009 at 7 pm in the main theater room at the Potrero Hill Neighborhood House.

Candidate Statements were posted on this website and were printed and displayed at the May 13 meeting. A list follows of the 9 candidates chosen from a field of 17.

The outgoing Secretary congratulated the new Board members and thanks all Candidates who particpated. Nine members were elected, and for the first month or so nine served. One member has resigned due to increased professional responsibilities, and the process is underway to fill that ninth seat.
