Call For Land Stewards! Work Party Sat July 16Th 1Be a steward of Starr King Open Space on July 16th!  Every 3rd Saturday of the month, neighbors and friends of SKOS meet on Coral Drive and get down and dirty while sprucing up our Open Space. This month, our reward for weeding and tidying up will be the chance to discover a flower that only grows in 11 counties in California, and SKOS is one of its few homes in San Francisco! Its common name is Farewell to Spring. Its real name is … well, let’s see if you can fill in the blanks “Clark_a  rub_c_nda.”

Starr King’s maintenance, health and beauty depends on our volunteers. You may be surprised how much fun it can be helping out!  Bring the family along and learn what’s native and what’s not.

See you Saturday! We really appreciate your help.
