Our June work party was a great success. Kathyjean, Webb, Tom, and Susie pulled weeds and collected two garbage bags full of trash. Thank you for keeping the Open Space beautiful! Weeders and trash picker-upers are always welcome, but don’t fret, our work parties include all sorts of opportunities: meet your neighbors while learning what’s a weed and what’s a CA native plant, and even how to collect and sow the seeds of the plants we want to encourage on the Open Space. Work parties are held the third Saturday of every month. The next work party will be July 16th from 9 to noon. Meet on Carolina, across from Starr King Elementary. Everyone welcome!
