Did you hear the news? We were awarded two grants to remove the concrete loop that runs through the open space. The Community Challenge Grant and SF Carbon Fund are supporting the removal of the concrete loop that currently runs through the top of SKOS.
The removal of the concrete sitting in the middle of our native habitat restoration has been on our wish list for a very long time. The removal and disposal will be handled by a licensed contractor and will not begin until later this year, but we’ll need your help for other aspects of the project. Part of our grant request includes several hundred volunteer hours over the next six to nine months as we move through the various stages of seed collection, re-grading and re-planting.
