After a rainy winter, we’re extra excited to host our Mimosa Wildflower Walk. Join us this Sunday April 14 at 11am to check out what’s blooming here on Potrero Hill & to learn more about our native plants from local experts.
Wildflower walks happen annually to showcase the great California native plant diversity that we have on the Open Space. Over the course of the spring, more than 20 wildflowers can be found blooming in the Open Space if you know where to look.
Meet at the swing across from Starr King Elementary. Walks are free, relatively informal, good for families, fun for photographers, and last about an hour. We will provide free mimosas to enjoy while we walk. Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear.
We hope to see you there! Click here to RSVP on Facebook.
Starr King Open Space is a volunteer run non-profit. Your donations help make events like our Wildflower Walks possible.
