Board Meetings
The Starr King Open Space Board meets every third Monday of the month in various locations from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Neighbors are welcome to attend. To find out where the next meeting will be, feel free to get in touch. Our remaining 2025 meeting schedule is:

Stewardship Days
Come out and be a steward of the Open Space 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. the second Saturday of every month! Volunteers are needed to help take care of the land and native plants. Our Stewardship Days in 2025 are:

- May 10th
- June 14th
- July 12th
- August 9th
- September 13th
- October 11th
- November 8th
Annual Meeting and Election
The Board convenes the open space’s Annual Meeting and Election each May. This meeting is an opportunity to update the community on the status of the land and the organization, to reflect on the past year of events and accomplishments, and to celebrate the land we love called Starr King Open Space.
In addition, this is when the Potrero Hill community elects new Board members. All residents (renters and homeowners) 18 and older are eligible to run for the Board, as well as vote for candidates at the Annual Meeting and Election. Proof of residency must be provided to be a candidate or vote (go here for more details on candidate and voter eligibility).
