Nickels for Non-Profits recipients for Q1 2015. Just bring your reusable bag to Whole Foods Market Potrero between January 19th-April 12th and elect to donate your bag credit to worthy local non-profits, including SKOS.
Here is how Whole Foods Market describes the program:
“At Whole Foods Market, we strive to serve and support our local communities. In fact, it’s one of our core values – everyday missions that drive our business practices. Each store selects up to three local non-profit organizations every quarter to partner with on our Nickels for Non-Profits program. For every reusable bag our customers bring in when they shop, they have the option of receiving a five cent credit or they can donate it to the Nickels for Non-Profits recipient. At the end of the quarter, all the bag refunds are added up and donated to our community partners!”
